Shards of Alara Pré-Release

Ok, lets just say that it was the worst, most humiliating event that I attended so far.
Me and Lim-Dul attended the Pré at White Dragon (Linda-a-Velha) and each one of us got a Mythic rare (yay!): Lich's Mirror for me and Sarkan Vol for him.
Each one of us got a very good deck, me going GWU with lots of removal and some counter, making this the best deck I've created thus far in such an event. Lim's deck was, if I'm not mistaken, GRB, also a good deck from what he told me and from what I saw from his second round.

Still, neither of us scored in the two rounds that we attended. He left for work and I left since there was little interest for me to keep going on. It is odd that when you have so little lands in a deck (18 lands, 2 of them fetch lands, out of 44 cards) you still loose because you're drowning in mana!

Crappy event. Although there's more to it I don't feel like talking much about it anymore.
